There's no ultimate experience

I don’t think there is an ultimate experience. There is only experience. My duty is to make my experience better and to make other’s experiences better.
There is no way that the world should be, there is only the world.
There is no perfect system, there are just systems.
What I mean by all of this I suppose is it’s very easy to get caught in the search for an ideal way to live or an ideal way to experience life or an ideal system of government or an ideal spirituality.
This thought, comes in part from my very rigid religious upbringing. In that life, there was a correct way to live, there was an ideal government, there was a perfect spirituality; we were always fighting against an evil force to destroy these things we wanted to realize.
What I believe in now, I suppose, is gradual, incremental improvements, always without expectation of achieving perfection.
